Environmental Officer for Costa Crociere

GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting Environmental Officer for the well known Italian owner of passenger vessels, Costa Crociere.

Departures: June 2025

Main offered conditions:
Working contracts, registered in Italy;
Attractive salary paid on a 4/2 months rotation;
Medical insurance, pension;


Requirements:
You have served as an Engine Officer with a minimum rank of 2nd Engineer or higher - or a Deck Officer with a minimum rank of 2nd Officer or higher - or have equivalent experience in the Navy, Coast Guard, or shoreside engineering.
Good written, spoken and technical English (B2 level) ; knowledge of other languages is a plus;
Good knowledge of MARPOL and environmental compliance subjects;
Experience in the environmental protection field, preferably in the marine or shipping industry;
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills;
Good administrative skills, good computer knowledge and the ability to prioritize;

Your life onboard:
As an Environmental Officer, you will be responsible for checking, monitoring, and supporting shipboard teams to ensure compliance with environmental policies and procedures. You'll identify, assess, and communicate environmental compliance risks, actively working to support shipboard teams by communicating environmental requirements to help mitigate risk and prevent non-compliance.
