Second Officer for AIDA Cruises

GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting Second Officer, for the well known Owners of passenger vessels AIDA Cruises.
Departure: August 2025
Main offered conditions:
Working contracts, registered in Italy;
Medical insurance, unemployment benefits, pension;
Recruitment, travelling & training expenses covered by the company;
Duties included (but not limited to ):
-During her/his watch, (s)he is responsible for the safety of navigation of the ship (e.g.COLREG,ETA and/or ETD times check etc.) or conducting a safe watch in port or at anchor. The Officer is responsible for the safety of all persons on board with the same rights and obligations/ responsibilities like a master until properly relieved by Safety LSA / FF, Staff Captain or Master.
-(S)he assists the Captain/ Staff Captain to manage the external communications as Required (e.g. comm. to MRCC in case of emergency).
-(S)he assists the Staff Captain on the Ship Stability and the management as per company procedures.
-(S)he is responsible for all items affecting the ship during a watch (weather, boat/ tender ops, bunker ops, gangway pos. etc.). Office side duties are prohibited
-(S)he is in charge of the education and professional growth of his Junior Officers/Cadet Officers, involving in his own duties both during and while off watch and over viewing his off watch activities.
