Main Duties
The Galley Utility is responsible for supporting the catering department and maintaining hygiene standards onboard.

Duties include:
Peeling potatoes, vegetables, and fruits
Washing and cutting food ingredients
Cleaning galley surfaces and kitchen utensils
Assisting with dishwashing operations
Removing garbage and maintaining waste separation procedures
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with MLC and company regulations
The position reports directly to the Chief Cook.

Mandatory Requirements
Valid STCW certification
Seaman's Book
Valid Medical Certificate
Passenger Ship Course (mandatory for RoPax vessels)

Remarks:

Contract duration may be extended based on performance and operational requirements.
Opportunity for additional bonuses.
Performance-based salary increases and promotions may be granted in subsequent contracts
