Recycling Operations Officer for passenger vessels - Costa Crociere
GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting Recycling Operations Officer for the well-known Italian owner of passenger vessels, COSTA CROCIERE.
Departure: Summer 2026
Main offered conditions:

Key Responsibilities:
- Has access to all relevant waste storage and collection locations, to all treatment spaces on the ship, and all equipment (following TEC-1302 - for access log required for Engine Spaces or by e-tracking access system where applicable).
- Following the ship-specific Waste Disposal Schedule, prepare compliant Waste Notifications for upcoming ports in close cooperation with the Staff Captain and all departments producing waste on board. Ensure that any deviation from the schedule is discussed with Port Operations before a final decision is made.
- Verifies that all types of waste are properly managed, according to applicable laws and corporate and company procedures, if necessary, also works on procedures.
- Supports to correctly keep all documents related to waste landing, including the on-board copies of the waste landing lists and invoices, processes invoices, and files disposal information on ports.
- Reports to the Staff Captain and cooperates closely with the Staff Chief Engineer regarding all operations and observations in Recycling Center.
Requirements:
- The minimum educational background shall be a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies or equivalent.
- Practical experience in waste management and/or wastewater management, at best in the maritime industry or strong affiliation to sustainability topics, f.e. through relevant vocational training or university studies.
- First experience in supervision of employees or leading teams.
