2nd Engineer (Container Vessel)

We are seeking qualified candidates for the positions of 2nd Engineer to work on board Container Vessel.

Responsibilities:
** Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.
** Supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of the main engine, auxiliary engines and other machinery.
** Ensure compliance with the planned maintenance system, safety procedures and environmental regulations.
** Supervise engine room personnel and maintain accurate technical records.
** Troubleshoot machinery defects and ensure reliable engine room operations.

Requirements:
** Valid Certificate of Competency
** Previous experience as 2nd Engineer on container vessels.
** Good knowledge of MAN B&W electronically controlled main engines and auxiliary machinery.
** Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
** Good command of English, strong leadership and technical troubleshooting skills.
