Junior HVAC Engineer for passenger vessels - Aida Cruises

GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting Junior HVAC Engineer, for the well-known Owners of passenger vessels Aida Cruises.

Departure: Summer 2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the HVAC Engineer in managing the HVAC & Refrigeration team, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and team development
- Ensure high-quality operation and maintenance of HVAC-R systems, preventing failures through proactive monitoring and preventive actions
- Perform hands-on technical work alongside HVAC-R technicians when required
- Operate, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems (provision plants, cold rooms, compressors, piping, and catering equipment such as ice machines and cooling systems)
- Monitor HVAC systems, chilled water units, and cooling water systems
- Conduct testing and inspections in compliance with company standards (e.g., PMS, HESS, USPH)

Requirements:

- EU 517/2014 , EG 842/2006, EU 2015/2067, EG 303/2008, ChemKlimaschutzV (or other national law implementing EU law as above)
- EPA Program (40 CFR Part 82 Subpart F)"
- FGAS certificate
- STCW III/5
- Previous experience onboard passenger vessels
- Secondary school
- Mechanical Education
- Diploma Reefer/HVAC maintenance/service
