GOOD WINDS Marine Services is recruiting Public Health Officer (PHO) for the well-known Italian owner of passenger vessels Costa Cruises.

Mandatory Requirements:
- EU nationality (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in public health, Environmental Health, Biological Sciences, or related field
- Minimum B2 level English
- Experience:At least 2 years of shipboard experience or 3 years of shoreside experience in public health programs
- Knowledge of infection control practices and Vessel Sanitation Standards
- Strong computer skills (MS Office) for reporting audits, inspections, investigations, and training
- Availability for temporary embarkation for up to 6 months.

Preferred:
- STCW certification
- CDC Vessel Sanitation Training
- Infection Control Certification
- SHIPSAN certification
- Previous cruise industry experience

Terms & Benefits:
- Fixed-term contract: 5 months (may be reduced or extended by 1 month)
- Temporary embarkation up to 6 months, followed by approximately 2 months unpaid leave.
