Accountant Role:
- Assist Finance Manager in day to day accounting-financial activity, follow up and communication towards crew & suppliers;
- Performing seafarers payroll using company's crew masnagement platform;
- Preparing and issuing Clients' invoices related to crew expenses;
- Booking accounting transactions related to bank statements and petty cash;
- Ensure timely DoA preparation for external Clients and seafarers;
- Ensure proper coordination with private medical insurance and private pension providers;
- Assist Finance Manger in audit process of financial transactions and documents;
- Comply with financial policies and regulation in Romania;
- Actively working for internal accounting processes' optimization and improvement
Qualification and experience:
- Bachelor in Economics;
- Good experience in admin processes, payroll and accounting;
- Good communication (verbal & written) skills of English language;
- Very Good computer literacy MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
- Open and flexible willing to learn and develop a successful career;
- An understanding of shipping industry's particular demands will be an advantage;
- Good attention to details and good analytical skills;
- Availability and openeness for learning new systems and processes;
- Adaptable and proactiveness;
- Conversant and ready to meet strict deadlines;
Remuneration Package:
The remuneration package on offer is a market oriented one (1500 - 1800 EUR gross), together with private pension and health insurance and daily meal tickets.
